Ministerial Response
Yesterday’s announcement by South Burnett Regional Council that an earlier ban on cash at the Kingaroy waste facility, will now be extended to three more tips, has caused widespread outrage.
The Council is trying to ‘sell’ the policy as one solely motivated by its commitment to people’s ‘safety and security’.
They treat us like children.
By introducing these ‘go cashless’ policies in this gradual and piecemeal manner, all masked in ‘soothing’ buzzwords like ‘safety’, ‘convenience’, ‘protection’ etc, they think people won’t notice what is happening until it’s too late.
Their ultimate goal being to turn Queensland into a ‘cashless’ society by stealth.
The Courier Mail quoted one Councillor as saying: “cash poses several risks… including theft and damage from attempted break-ins. Whilst this will not totally eliminate the risk of break-ins, it is expected to lower risks”.
Did you catch the key word in all that? – RISK
SIGN THE PETITION to Keep Cash as a guaranteed payment option in Queensland

They slip it in all the time now, whenever the subject of cash is raised.
It’s all part of a deliberate strategy by banks and governments to “frame” cash as something risky, unsafe, dodgy even.
Similar ‘framing’ tactics are used to position cash as a ‘risk’ to public health – as something dirty, germ-ridden and dangerous.
The word “risk” is now regularly trotted out and used to demonise everything associated with the ‘old normal’, and cash is at the top of that list.
Allowing councils, big business, banks and other vested interest groups, to dictate public policy in this covert and sneaky manner, completely outside the normal democratic process, must not be tolerated.
Cash is legal tender. It is also safe, private, reliable, bank charge-free and a handy back-up for when other systems fail.
Banning its use is discriminatory and will adversely impact the many groups and individuals within society who still prefer to use it.
Which is why I have put up a Parliamentary Petition calling on Government to urgently introduce legislation that guarantees people’s right to use cash in Queensland.

Keep cash, period
Keep cash!!
Keep cash alive
Keep cash alive
All Queenslander should be Protected from every adverse affair, by Annastacia the Cruel and I live by removing every Physics and Monetary affect on the People.
Keep our cash
There needs to be a choice. Many people can’t navigate electronic payments.
Without cash they will able to monitor our every move digitally.
And stop it, leaving you effectively penniless.
Choices for everyone!
It appears quite a few local Council establishments are switching to No Cash, Cards only policy
Another example in Queensland – Caloundra Sports Stadium. No Cash will be accepted at the cafe, cards only sign is on the counter.
As children also use the Sports Centre & want to buy a drink etc – they can not because they do not own a Debit or Credit card
Hmmm🤔
Keep Cash!
Keep cash
💰 Keep Cash 💯
The government are trying to control everything we do. Still want to use cash.
I would like to keep cash. We use it for our kid’s pocket money, to buy things at the market and to help us budget.
Haven’t our politicians learnt from other countries who tried cashless . We have to look after our Elderly who don’t have a computer and loved face to face with people at banks and those who only us cash.
Not everyone who uses cash is a criminal. Cash affords privacy that no other payment method does. Our privacy and sovereignty as citizens has been steadily eroded by governments & big businesses. The more digital we become the more of our freedoms and rights of choice are taken from us. Cash is legal tender so I demand the right to use it without restriction.
Cash or card, our choice.
A cashless society concedes control to those who abuse the power.
Keep Cash . To help support all the small businesses, markets , and garage sales . All will be gone without cash
Use it or we will lose it !
It’s our right as Australian tax payers to be able to have the choice of payment by cash anything else is a push by government at all levels of digital control this is unconstitutional at all levels
If they want communism go and live in China but don’t try forcing it on us
Cash has got to stay!!
KEEP CASH!
The ability to use cash is so important, if you would like to sell your second hand goods you can without the greedy unlawful government helping themselves, they already take too much…
This push for a cashless society began back in the 1980’s when the Labor government deregulated the banking industry. Along with the support of the unions, our wages were paid directly into our bank accounts. “To minimize ‘risk’ “. I tried warning others back then, but no-one wanted to listen.
Please keep cash. Why would they want to change something that has worked fine.
I want to continue paying in cash
We must keep on fighting to keep cash. After God, cash is King!
I demand to keep cash
It’s what we are fighting for in Cairns. The bureaucrats decided to make everything cashless (using Covid as an excuse), and we have had a petition and lobbying of our elected representatives to reverse this discriminatory decision. The vote will happen on 19 April. Wish us luck!
I want to keep control over where I choose to spend or save the money I’ve earned. Not some central ‘bank’, controlled by ‘some’ government or (soon to be) otherwise.
The government has lost touch with its stakeholders and are completely self consuming socially destructive leaches.
Cash is OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT & WE’LL NOT HAVE it removed by NWO satanic puppets. It is just another form of control to remove money 💰
Keep cash available as currency.
It’s our right, to access OUR money in what whatever form we choose!
God given birthright to use cash.
Cash is king. It’s pure laziness not to accept cash.
We need & want cash in our society!
Cash is King
Cash should always stay in our society.
What about a lot of pensioners that don’t have debt cards or the like.
We don’t need to hand over the freedom to the banks and corporates to decided our lives. This is leading to totalitarian government.
Cash is king
I prefer to use cash for transactions to avoid fees, to avoid business and governments tracking my spending and spending habits as well as to preserve what little privacy I still have.
With cash, we are in charge over our own money! When it’s gone, these rulers could freeze your money or tell you to spend it otherwise it will be taken away from your account!! It is going to be the end of our existence when they control us on everything!
Keep cash
Cash must stay.
I will not comply with Tyranny.
We need to keep cash for lots of reasons, including for women being able to escape domestic violence situations, but also many other valid reasons. I strongly believe Australians should always have a choice on whether they use cash or card. I’ve had many times when internet banking is down or I can’t transfer money to pay at the checkout and have had to reach for cash to pay my bill. It is a serious concern not being able to access funds to pay for my groceries or fuel etc!!!
Can still use cash when internet banking has gone down Keep cash money
Can still use cash when internet banking has gone down Keep cash money
So cash isn’t King?… then what is?
Keep cash. They can’t monitor your individual spending when you use cash.
Cash as legal tender must be accepted for legal financial transactions in all locations. Lack of Internet services ie cyclones fires drought, easy to be hacked and money stolen, private market transactions, pocket money, gifts, many things paid for after saving for the amount.
Many people are not able to use a computer and are not able to do internet banking. There are many remote communities who do not have access to wifi and the bank is integral in their daily living. Every time someone uses a card they are charged a fee. Cash economy helps everyone.
I love Cash its a great commodity so dont allow the greedy controllers to take away a hard earned dollar from the people sometimes a tenner or a twenty is all people have for eggs bread milk
simple exchange of cash.

It is vital that we continue using cash.
It’s time for governments to butt out and let Australians live their lives as they wish. There is absolutely no need for governments to control every aspect of our lives. We are not communist China.
Cash stays
I still use cash. Same with the whole population. Pocket money. Garage sale. Tooth fairy. All gone plus more without cash. Stop trying to rule us as it’s NOT going to happen.

Keep cash, the power to control money must not be in the power of governments.
The Government can just *#%@ off!! They are not going to control us by not letting us have cash. Say NO for sure!! I swear they will want us to be Communists next?
This is yet one more plan by this government (Corporation) to take away our rights as Australian Citizens. People DON’T BE LAZY, use CASH as much as possible. Sadly, it is pathetic the number of people who should be giving us this change – AND THEY DON’T HAVE CASH ON HAND. Persists!!!
Keep cash for everyone who doesn’t know how to use banking apps and all of us
I want to use cash! There is no charge fee to use cash. Credit cards cost money for every transaction plus annual fee to have a card!
We must keep cash this is a scam for GOV to get total control over us people their plan is to push the button to stop your cash if you do not do what the GOV has planned for us which are lockdowns you can’t go outside your 15 min zone you will be stopped from buying things you want if the GOV thinks you don’t need it you will have limits on food petrol and anything the GOV THINKS YOU DO NOT NEED IT this is the truth behind their plan to take away all our freedom and rights so please wake up to what is really going on with evil GOV SO NO TO ALL THIS
The right to use cash needs to be protected by the law at all times ,KEEP CASH.
Keep cash
Cash can’t be hacked
When your mobile phone battery is flat, or the power grid goes down we need cash.
Cash is more convenient,
You know how much money you have, and
that’s how much you spend.
I’m in control of my money.
The petition is to hard to find.
Cash is king 👑 💵
The people are waking slowly. We must not give up. Each little bit helps 🙏🏽❤️🇦🇺
There are always times when cash is needed. Why should we pay extra fees when paying for small items or be without when there are floods etc? Keep cash there. & drop the fees
Government is not representative of the people.
I have concerns that the enacted amendments to the Surveillance Devices Act 2004 (Cth) ( https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/C2021A00098 ) by way of the Surveillance Legislation Amendment (Identify and Disrupt) Act 2021(Cth)
( https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/C2022C00180 ) purports to allow the deletion, modification or insertion of digital data on ANY computer even if it causes another harm.
This can be initiated WITHOUT the permission of a judicial official which directly contravenes the High Court precedent set out by, R v Kirby; Ex parte Boilermakers’ Society of Australia (1956), although a Judicial official has to be provided with the affidavit of the details and evidence the warrant to funk with others computers uses to try justify itself within 72 hours under section 27(KA)
This case precedent, aka common law, prevents any other than a relevant jurisdictional Court presided over by a competent conflict of interest free judicial official from determining something is lawful and thus actually enforceable on others who do not openly consent to the decisions of the non-judicial determinations.
(Power to cause another material loss or damage without a Court determination or even a Judicial official approval outside a Court)
27KA Application for data disruption warrant
Unsworn applications
(4) If a law enforcement officer believes that:
(a) immediate disruption of data held in the target computer referred to in subsection (1) is likely to substantially assist as described in paragraph (1)(c); and
(b) it is impracticable for an affidavit to be prepared or sworn before an application for a warrant is made;
an application for a warrant under subsection (1) may be made before an affidavit is prepared or sworn.
(5) If subsection (4) applies, the applicant must:
(a) provide as much information as the eligible Judge or nominated AAT member considers is reasonably practicable in the circumstances; and
(b) not later than 72 hours after the making of the application, send a duly sworn affidavit to the eligible Judge or nominated AAT member, whether or not a warrant has been issued.

(Power to cause another material loss or damage without a Court determination)
27KE What a data disruption warrant authorises
Certain acts not authorised
(7) Subsection (2) does not authorise the addition, deletion or alteration of data, or the doing of any thing, that is likely to:
(a) materially interfere with, interrupt or obstruct:
(i) a communication in transit; or
(ii) the lawful use by other persons of a computer;
unless the addition, deletion or alteration, or the doing of the thing, is necessary to do one or more of the things specified in the warrant; or
(b) cause any other material loss or damage to other persons lawfully using a computer, unless the loss or damage is reasonably necessary, and proportionate, to do one or more of the things specified in the warrant.
____________________________________________
(Power to HIDE what harm being caused to others through questionable power)
27KE What a data disruption warrant authorises
Concealment of access etc.
(9) If any thing has been done in relation to a computer under:
(a) a data disruption warrant; or
(b) this subsection;
then, in addition to the things specified in the warrant, the warrant authorises the doing of any of the following:
(c) any thing reasonably necessary to conceal the fact that any thing has been done under the warrant or under this subsection;

So if ALL our financial or other assets, like property deeds, are digitised government can and likely shall cause us harm through them which is potentially unlawful and not consistent with superior elements of our legal framework.
And governments past behaviour shows they are evidenced, through action and inaction, of creating a pattern of behaviour of overreaching power and using manifestly absurd reasoning to justify harm to others.
Actions like questioning government are being deemed by some government senior officials as parallels to terrorism..
Hope this makes sense.
